This month we have started a large-scale project funded by the Eurpean Union within its Horizon 2020 framework targeting next-generation high-throughput free-space laser communications from the ground to satellites. We are excited to be receiving this funding because it will allow us to get into an excellent starting position for this upcoming application. Apart from technical developments, the project will also be focused on building a network and establishing the TOPTICA Projects brand as an essential supplier within the future space ecosystem.
